FAIREWINDS ENERGY EDUCATION – Fundraiser 6-3-15
AG: Hi. I’m Arnie Gundersen from Fairewinds Energy Education. At the beginning of May, I gave a 20-minute speech at Northwestern University in Chicago. A Forbes Magazine reporter who heard the speech wrote a story that’s been read by 440,000 people. Here’s my quote from that speech that’s been shared by people all over the world. “We all know the wind doesn’t blow consistently and the sun doesn’t shine every day. But the nuclear industry would have you believe that humankind is smart enough to develop techniques to store nuclear waste for a quarter of a million years. But at the same time, humankind is so dumb, we can’t figure out a way to store solar electricity overnight. To me, that doesn’t make sense. But when you listen to Fairewinds, you expect accurate and undistorted analysis of nuclear energy issues and risks.
