Fairewinds Newsletter: Our Research is Genuinely One of A Kind!

Fairewinds Energy Education’s research is genuinely one of a kind!

  • When residents outside Los Angeles asked for help measuring radioactivity following the devastating Woolsey Wildfire that began at the site of an atomic meltdown, Fairewinds investigated. Our community-volunteer citizen-science sampling produced a peer-reviewed scientific Journal paper that is now the second most downloaded article during the third quarter of 2021 in articles published by the Journal of Environmental Radioactivity.

  • When citizens of Cumbria [in the UK] were concerned about radioactive contamination of beaches and the Irish Sea from a nuclear waste facility, Fairewinds investigated! Our community-volunteer citizen-scientists collected samples of some of the most dangerous and rarely-found nuclear wastes that Fairewinds has ever encountered.

  • When Fukushima Dai-ichi experienced a triple meltdown and citizens expressed concerns about spreading toxic radioactivity, Fairewinds investigated! Our community-volunteer citizen-science investigations have resulted in two major peer-reviewed journal articles. Fairewinds’ scientific efforts prove that radioactive microparticles continue to contaminate many areas of Japan.

When the next disaster occurs, Fairewinds wants to be there.

With adequate funding, we will help families and communities in need of the truth. We use community-volunteer citizen-science to speak truth to power.

Please donate and help us continue the essential work of empowering individuals and communities with open and democratized information and data.

We use our proven community-volunteer citizen-science collection and analyses techniques to publish rigorous scientific data.  Our program and these projects cost real money. Individual donors make Fairewinds fundraising successful. As a non-profit [501(c)3 registered with the IRS since 2008], foundations who donate must see that we also have individual donors truly committed to Fairewinds scientific analyses.

Fairewinds releases our evidence in scientific peer-reviewed journal articles proving what the atomic power and nuclear weapons industries don’t want you to know.

Please help us continue providing the scientific analyses that Fairewinds has proven to deliver!

We will continue to advocate for you, your family, and your community.

Look at the science: Radiation Knows No Borders!

  • When radioactivity leaks or is released, you cannot see, smell, or taste it (unless it is a massive release, and then it tastes metallic).

  • Once those toxic radioactive microparticles leave a contaminated site, the radioactive dust and dirt contaminate everything they touch. (Sites such as atomic reactor sites, a bomb or fuel manufacturing site, atomic waste dump, or unmonitored and leaking uranium mine).

  • It takes centuries to thousands of years for most forms of deadly radiation to dissipate, and there still is no viable method to clean up its toxic residue.

  • Those deadly atoms poison the air you breathe, the water you drink, and the food you eat.

Citizens and community groups are calling us for help, but our financial tank is empty.

We can’t move forward in 2022 without your support.

Fairewinds will keep you informed

with publicly-available, rigorous, evidence-based science.

Consider this:

  1. A donation equal to the price of one handcrafted coffee drink per week will help us continue this work!

  2. If funds are tight, please consider donating only the equivalent of one handcrafted coffee drink or latte per month, which you may do easily with an automatic recurring donation.

Thank you for donating to Fairewinds Energy Education!
